LA based label, Minimale Animale, has major sex appeal. This collection is full of 80’s and 90’s inspired pieces with super high cuts, mesh panels, and cutouts to boot.
Beyond the sex appeal, the quality is really what has drawn me to this brand. I wear a 34D bra, so I was a little skeptical when ordering the Work It Top (pictured above). Usually, stringy bralette bikini tops do not provide enough support for me. The fabric was surprisingly very supportive when I tried it on. The Broadway Top is a great option if you prefer even more support and coverage. I actually have used this top as a sports bra before and it works perfectly- especially for a run on the beach.
As for bottoms, the Bandit Brief is one of my favorites that I own. It turned out to be way more flattering than expected. The Work It Brief is a very minimal and comfortable string bottom. The whole ‘Work It’ set is great for days when you know you’re going to be in a bikini and cover up most of the day because it fits like underwear and is just as comfortable.
One of my favorite one-pieces on the market is the Tyler Suit. I’m obsessed with high cut one-pieces these days, and I think this is one of the best that I have ever tried.
Minimale Animale may not be for the more conservative types. The Brazilian cuts and multiple straps can be a little intimidating, but I encourage bikini lovers to give them a try. These suits are surprisingly very flattering once you put them on. I have followed this brand since the beginning and I personally cannot get enough of them. One of my favorites for sure!
